Harvey was bored. It was the summer holiday and all his friends had gone away somewhere nice with their parents. His father had been called away on business and the plan to go to Disney world had been put on hold.
Wandering aimlessly around the garden he realised that he had never looked behind the shed. Considering himself one of the better explorers he decided to check out this undiscovered land.
After fighting his way though a large mass of brambles, Harvey found a clearing, in the center of which was a rock.
Nothing unusual about a rock you might say. Well, this rock was different. It was glowing.

Harvey circled warily around the rock, keeping his distance. After a while the rock started humming as well as glowing. Then it started spinning very fast, and rose a few feet from the ground. It moved towards him, and Harvey threw himself to the ground. When he looked up again, the rock was hovering a few feet above his head, still humming and glowing. A moment later, a hatch opened in the side of the rock and a tiny head poked out of the opening. The head was small and purple, with tufts of quills on the top, what seemed to be five eyes, and a proboscis-type protuberance where the mouth and nose should be.
"Woo-loolo-glumble-weee-dee-znn-werrel?" enquired the tiny alien. "Err, fine thanks," said Harvey nervously, assuming that the being was asking if he was OK. "Oh, sorry, I forgot to switch on my translation device," said the alien. "Actually I was asking if you knew the way to Disney World." "Disney World?" asked Harvey incredulously. "What do you want to go there for?" "Is it not where human dreams are manufactured?" "No way," said Harvey. "You want to go to Japan."
